Definitely one of the best HK Cha Chan Teng cafes we’ve been. We have been there for both breakfast and dinner. They have really nice breakfast sets, my favourites are their fish fillet set, instant noodles set and pineapple bun. I like how they have an ice placed underneath the butter to keep it solid Their pineapple bun is really really nice. Instant noodles were cooked al dente to my liking, it might not be to everyone’s preference though. Over dinner, we ordered their baked dishes. I really enjoyed them especially their spaghetti bolognese.
We visited this place on the spur of walking around town and was not disappointed!! We got drawn in by the flashy signs and decor of the place and when we got in it we were welcomed by a refreshing modernised hk cafe interior. Serving is very simple, just scan the qr code provided and order the food, the menu variety is huge in ranging from typical cha chaan teng selection like noodles and sandwiches to hk baked rice and even typical buns. We ordered two baked rice and was seriously surprised by the quality, it tasted better than most renowned cafes I’ve been to and they were super tasty. The service is fairly fast too so great for an in and out meal. Would definitely go again to try different dishes and the prices were quite reasonable in my opinion. They also have a bakery section next to the main entrance if you just wanted to buy the buns! P.s. Female staff are super friendly, male staff less so.
I stumbled upon this cozy spot by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the comforting bowl of instant noodles served in a rich, flavorful broth. Topped with silky scrambled eggs, fresh greens, luncheon meat, and a savory sausage, every bite was warm and satisfying. Paired with a perfectly brewed iced milk tea, it was a simple yet delightful meal that felt like a comforting hug in food form. Sometimes, the best finds are unplanned — and this was definitely one of them.
the potato salad ($30), and vegetarian dishes, are ridiculous (i’ve never seen a 羅漢上素 dish without baby corn in my life), but this is a typical hk-style cha chaan teng with a menu of various asian cuisines. LOVE the alfresco area! food average, interior spacious. QR code order. fast wifi. cash/octopus card. recommended: pastries (esp pineapple bun), curry, laksa, hainan chicken
Not sure why the lacklustre rating but this place served the most delicious breakfast/tarts combo! Fast service and no frills!
